MASS CANCELLATION BOX

  Mass cancellations will be placed in the yellow box above.  Please check here during inclement weather for updates on the Mass schedule.  Decisions made to cancel Mass will follow this schedule:

               Daily Masses:  Decision by 7:15am.
               Saturday Mass, Blanchardville:  Decision by 2:30pm.
               Sunday Masses, Hollandale and Perry:  Decision by 8:00am.

IMPORTANT ITEMS
WEEK OF MAY 3RD

+At the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, May 10th, our young adults will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Msgr. Daniel Ganshert, Vicar General of the Diocese, will confer the Sacrament.  I would encourage all parishioners from the cluster to consider attending this Mass so that we can celebrate the accomplishments of our young adults together.

+This weekend, I announced at all of the Masses that I would be transferred from our parishes on June 12th.  Due to the needs of the Diocese and our priests, Bishop Morlino has appointed me pastor at St. Mary of the Nativity Parish in Marshall, and St. Joseph Parish in Waterloo.  Waterloo has a parochial school with approximately 90 students.  My heart is sad to be leaving so soon, but we trust in the grace of the Holy Spirit, and we go where He directs us to go.  I am happy to report that our cluster will remain in-tact, with another pastor taking my place.  Fr. Thomas Gillespe will be replacing me on the same day, June 12th.  Fr. Gillespe is approximately 60 years old, and has been a priest for many years.  I know that he will continue to do good things for each of the parishes.  Please pray for me, for our parishes, and for the parishioners of Marshall and Waterloo - that the Holy Spirit may open all of our hearts to accept this change.
